Solidarity Fund

The ITUC Solidarity Fund gives assistance to trade union action in the countries where it is most needed. It helps organisations and individuals facing hardship or repression, and supports trade union campaigns, organising and strengthening capacities and structures. The oversight and management of the Fund is done by the Solidarity Fund Management Board. The Board reports to the ITUC General Council. In 2010, the Fund supported activities to a total of 1 million Euros.

The Fund is financed by voluntary contributions from ITUC affiliates.
